For Autumn/ Winter 2013, Frette takes a tour of interiors from Paris to New York to Shanghai. Edmond Frette examines Mediterranean architecture on the Californian coast, again taking inspiration from interiors. Deeply researched, the collections are based on travels by Frette's designers to all corners of the globe. Gleaning inspiration from private and public spaces, they combine the personal and idiosyncratic with specific cultural references.

 

Giving a new twist to a 1930's archive design, reinterpreting it in contemporary colours, using the latest techniques, the elaborate, figurative pattern features swooping Chinese birds, swirling water and exotic,  umbrella-like flowers on piece-dyed cotton sateen. The colours, atmosphere and designs of 1930's Shanghai inspire the first of the evocative Interior Worlds collections, exploring East-West influences and Chinese declinations of Art Deco. This unique style still exists today in hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton and the Peninsula.

Kim’s Million Dollar Lipstick targets to raise HK$1 Million for free breast cancer services

In an exclusive collaboration between  kimrobinson beauty and Lane Crawford for Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution, style maestro Kim Robinson invites women across Hong Kong to pucker up and support women touched by breast cancer with his limited edition set of five luxury lipsticks.

Kim selected this season’s must-have shades to achieve a believably beautiful look that works across a broad range of skin tones and perfectly captures the Autumn/Winter 2013 trends. Each exquisite shade embodies the spirit of the woman who has lent it her name: Kathy Chow, Almen Wong, Qi Qi, Janet Ma, and Lisa S. The collection reflects the power of beauty and the strength and confidence it inspires, and the launch visuals were shot by celebrity and fashion photographer and filmmaker Sean Lee-Davies.

 

As a long-time supporter of Hong Kong Cancer Fund, Kim wanted to use his four decades of Asian beauty expertise to create a wearable lipstick collection that would bring women together in support of Pink Revolution, Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s annual campaign in October dedicated to help women touched by breast cancer. A lipstick is a small yet essential part of a woman’s daily routine and through the collaboration between  kimrobinson beauty and Lane Crawford, Kim hopes to empower women to help those in need through beauty.

 “Every day I am inspired by women, from my clients at the studio to those who courageously battle cancer,” Kim said. “Cancer is something that I watched my mother survive, and unfortunately is a disease that affects many families in Hong Kong. I believe that beauty empowers. I believe in Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s programmes and that together we can make a difference. I believe in the Pink Revolution and beauty that benefits.”

Kim挑選了本季的大熱色調來打造動人之美的造型,不但適合不同膚色的女性,而且完美地捕捉了2013秋冬流行趨勢。每款唇膏均以一位代言模特兒命名:周汶錡(Kathy Chow)、黃佩霞(Almen Wong)、琦琦(Qi Qi)、馬詩慧(Janet Ma)和Lisa S.,傳遞了各人對美麗的積極態度,以及自信的魅力。活動照片由著名時裝攝影師及導演Sean Lee-Davies親自操刀拍攝。
