Chinese fashion designer Angel Chen graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2014 and gained the attention of the media when she was named one of the Top Five Graduate Designers of the Year by i-D magazine. Now based between London and Shanghai, Chen hopes to channel her romantic but rebellious spirit into a youthful collection for the new generation.

Chen has been honing her skills with Marchesa and Vera Wang upon her graduation. She often uses bold colours in her work with a romantic and eccentric character in mind.

Inspired by a troop of Highland Dressed Scouts marching in Maurice Ravel’s Bolero, her AW15 collection is a patchwork mixture of heavy wool and light cotton in bright green, yellow and red. Lurid prints are blended with gingham and tweed in earthy tones, while juxtaposing heavy and floating fabrics to create a dreamy woodland aesthetic.

Lane Crawford is proud to present the forward-thinking street style icon, Nick Wooster and the AW15 Wooster + Lardini collection, his eclectic collaboration with Italian brand Lardini exclusive to Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.

Lane Crawford exclusive styles:

Reversible Linton                       Patch Work 5 Colour Jacket             Light Wool Panel Front Pants

                        HKD 9,900                                     HKD 8,900                                       HKD 3,900

As one of the visionaries of Lane Crawford’s 165th anniversary campaign, Nick Wooster also co-curated the dedicated space for modern men’s wardrobe essentials at Lane Crawford ifc mall, where Wooster + Lardini is also showcased. Inspired by the Wooster + Lardini collection and his love for the contrast of textures, Wooster collaborated with Lane Crawford’s Creative team to design the pop-up space with mixed materials, including copper pods, marble platforms, and raw concrete walls.

Nick Wooster, who has 450K Instagram followers, is one of the most recognisable faces in the fashion industry. From a small-town Kansas boy to a international jet-setter, Wooster is now the poster boy for modern men’s style. His approach to dressing involves the pairing of disparate ideas- the tension of masculine/feminine, sartorial/street, and military/couture are the reference points for the season. Unusual fabric combinations and patchwork in jackets, pants and shirts are pivotal to the collection.

On August 13, Wooster visited Hong Kong for an exclusive styling session and cocktail party at Lane Crawford ifc mall with the hashtag #WHOISNICKWOOSTER.
