The most superior item ever created in the world of cognac – the Martell Trunk – is coming back to Hong Kong. Marking the first collaboration between Lane Crawford and Martell, the trunk will be displayed at Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store between 6 September and 18 October.

The Martell Trunk beautifully houses the entire Martell range, together with 28 montres containing four exclusive blends, known as Les Assemblages Exclusifs, created by Martell’s cellar master Benoît Fil. The mobile trunk itself is a masterpiece by renowned luxury trunk makers Pinel & Pinel, handmade by 10 skilled craftsmen over almost 1,000 man-hours in their Paris workshop. It is the largest trunk ever produced, at 2.06m high, 2.2m wide and 0.7m deep. Crafted in the signature Martell blue color, it is made from the highest grade full-grain leathers, copper, silver plate, oak, crystal and linen. Also in the trunk is a selection of the most exquisite luxury accessories for serving and enjoying cognac. Among the accessories for tasting the Martell cognac are Sèvres crystal tulip glasses, balloon snifters, cocktail glasses, Schott tumblers, and many more.

In addition to displaying the spectacular Martell Trunk, the Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store will be offering cognac tasting sessions every Friday and Saturday between 4:00pm and 7:00pm during the six-week display period. Tasting sessions with exclusive Martell displays will also be offered at a pop-up store at Lane Crawford Canton Road during the same period.

The Martell Trunk is available upon order with retail at HK$1.5 million, and the full Martell range will also be available for purchase separately.
