Created by Sara Blakely, SPANX specializes in footless pantyhose and a selection of high-end body-shapers for women who want to sculpt the perfect form. Blakely’s initial concept was born when she cut the feet off of her pantyhose and wore it under a pair of cream-colored pants.
The result was comfort, no lines, and a hugging tight shape that looked spectacular. After patenting her invention and developing her collection of body-slimming undergarments, SPANX made it onto Oprah’s Favourite Things list of 2000 which pretty much makes it an automatic bestseller.
SPANX is now a certified success all over the world, and has become a red carpet must-have for celebrities and a daily necessity for women everywhere.
SPANX lingerie collections are now available at lab concept at LAB CONCEPT in Queensway Plaza, Admiralty.

Suzie Stanford, an Australian furniture designer has always been fascinated by the discarded. Her passion for the discarded was first awakened by her grandfather, who collected things that are neglected and transformed them into new treasures. Growing up, she was always collecting things from ceramics and potteries to leather and fabrics and transforming them into practical objects. She rekindled her love of creating objects from neglected or discarded items and materials and started her own jewellery line on one of her annual London trips. Following the success of her jewellery line, she moved on to work on to furniture and lighting designs and was involved in numerous projects creating one-off pieces which include the Vintage Tea Towel Chairs for restaurants, retail fit-outs and numerous one-off light fittings for bars. Each vintage furniture piece is stamped on the base, numbered and signed by Suzie Stanford, together with the name of the client.
