Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini invited eight international design talents, including Simone Rocha, Craig Green, to shape visions of uniqueness, redrawing the parameters of our favourite puffer outerwear brand through Moncler Genius project. The unique capsule collections take turns in reinterpreting the iconic down puffer jacket using their own unique spin. 7 MONCLER FRAGMENT HIROSHI FUJIWARA is the first collection of the Moncler Genius series launching at Lane Crawford.

Hiroshi Fujiwara is a cultural fomenter and a pop infiltrator. He has a personal way to subtly tweak items. Through the mosaic of Fragment, he revisited the Moncler classics in keeping with his own imagination. Fujiwara reinterprets American grunge through a Japanese lens, reworking and tweaking classic down jackets and vests adding sweats, denim, a baseball jacket, and a mac with patches, prints and embroideries.

Born in Uruguay, Gabriela Hearst, the New York-based designer was praised for her technical innovation and quality craftsmanship. Her forthcoming Fall/Winter18 collection is to celebrate women at work, drawing inspiration from working females who need to dress in masculine attire, specifically Victorian female coal miners and women factory workers from World War I and II. 

Shantung silk separates, cashmere coats, merino sweater dresses and mannish suits can be found in Hearst’s modern working wardrobe.  A draped silk dress was designed as a tribute to her husband, John Augustine Hearst, grandson of the editor and publisher of Hearst Corporation, it recognises the family’s long history in journalism with a print based on Hearst newspapers. Red roses pattern and dazzling Swarovski crystals were added to decorate this special piece.

Hearst’s latest bag collection will make its Asian debut at a two-week installation at Lane Crawford, and will feature the likes of the newly introduced Rafaela clutch or the highly-coveted Nina bag - without the wait

Inspired by 70s and 80s discos, the pop-up is framed in hot pink and features glittering Miu Miu disco balls and a mirrored bar. A selection of styles from Automne 18 collection are exclusively introduced at Lane Crawford during the pop-up.
