Globe-Trotter x Erdem

Celebrated and award winning London Fashion Week womenswear designer, Erdem, brings his latest signature Spring/Summer print “Diaghilev Flower” to the 4th edition collaboration with Globe-Trotter. The collection epitomizes Erdem’s design signatures: color, optimism, and oddities.

Designer Erdem Moralioglu’s stunning print was inspired from months of research into the Ballets Russes dance movement from the early 1900’s. He poured over an extensive library of magazines from the 30’s, stopping to photograph arresting textile pages, manipulating these photographs to achieve the distorting, colourful trunk interior print.

Produced in fine silk twill, the “Diaghilev Flower” print has bright pops of Russian red, green, and lemon yellow, stemming from photographs of original stage sets and backdrops from Russian ballets. This edition series arrives in Navy vulcanized fiberboard body, optional Lime or Navy leather trim continuing a classic twist on Globe-Trotter’s classic converted design. Globe-Trotter uniquely hand makes every product in England with their specially patented material – Vulcan Fibre.

At the end of May, these timeless pieces will be available exclusively at Lane Crawford ifc mall, Lane Crawford Pacific Place, and Lane Crawford Canton Road. The trunks range in three versatile sizes: 21” ($9,900), 28” ($11,700), and 33” ($13,000). Come find the modern-vintage piece that best suits you!
