Time for a Ride

Are you noticing? Weather is getting warmer and Spring is approaching! And it is time for a ride!

Lane Crawford is introducing to you The Moulton Bicycle - the original full-suspension, separable, small- wheeled, high performance bicycle, world renowned for speed, efficiency, durability and comfort.

Expertly engineered for over 50 years and handcrafted in England, these bicycles are the world's most efficient form of transport - designed for universal use, real performance and comfort.

The Moulton bicycle is a unique design with many features that set it apart from other bicycles. Back in the 1950s, Alex Moulton defined the key features of the Moulton bicycle - small wheels, suspension, stiff unisex frame, adaptability to suit intended use, and innovation in design, engineering and manufacture. Today, these principles still hold true, but the resulting bicycle is improved in every way - lighter, stiffer, faster and more comfortable, as well as easier to transport by road, rail or air.

The Moulton bicycle is available in Lane Crawford ifc mall and Pacific Place home store.

Exclusively for Lane Crawford, Fiona Gall has created a range of light fixtures stemming from the theme of Botanica, the essence of the new season. For the first time in Hong Kong, experience the brilliance of Gall’s one-of-a-kind lighting creations made from recycled resources alongside other celebrated archival pieces from her past collections.

“When Lane Crawford asked me to be involved in this project, I packed up my most suitable works along with enough mesh, crystals, chains and glass tubing to create additional work on-site and boarded a plane to Hong Kong.”

As a young girl, London-based lighting artist Fiona Gall was fascinated by elaborate Victoriana, botanical pen and ink drawings and magical storybook illustrations. This keen interest inspired her to pursue a career in lighting design and led her to establish her design company, Emerald Faerie. Gall’s love of art, illustration and found objects can be found in her magical, unique and practical creations crafted from raw materials.

“In line with my chosen magical wilderness theme, Lane Crawford invited me to rummage through their warehouse. With what I found I have created paper flowers and leaves, dressing covered chairs, old frames and dressing tables with ruffles of origami paper flowers.”
