Making a splash on a number of runways was a generous helping of Crayola brights. From casual tees to full-on suits, vibrant colours permeate the Spring/Summer collections with unique colour blocking, clashing patterns, and retro-style colourways, as seen in 3.1 Phillip Lim, Burberry Prorsum, Carven, Isaora, Jil Sander, Jonathan Saunders, Kway, MSGM, Valentino, and Thom Browne. Eye-catching metallics add an electrifying, futuristic touch to the spectrum, with brands such as Alexander McQueen, Ann Demeulemeester, Burberry Prorsum and Damir Doma experimenting with a variety of tin foil effects on shirts, jackets, and suits in retro silhouettes for a vintage meets space age vibe. As a minimalist palette cleanser to the season’s graphic colour story, optic whites infuse collections with a clean, contemporary accent, as seen in Alexander Wang, Dsquared2 and Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci.
