Rin Tanaka, a multi-talented self-publisher born in 1970, is also a Japanese journalist and photographer. He first started his professional career as Japanese “black music” critical writer when he was 21, and he became “the youngest blues write in the world”. In 1994, he started researching the history of motorcycle jackets and accessories.

Since 1998 he had moved to San Clemente, CA, where he started studying to become a photographer. He was hitting the road everyday and everywhere to study men’s lifestyles in the U.S.A. The self-published business, “My Freedamn!” was started in June 2003. During the past 11 years, he has slotted over a thousand rolls of film during his U.S.A travel, and had his first photo exhibition in the U.S.A this year.

Personally signed by Tanaka, the eight books of the "My Freedamn!" series including My Freedamn! featuring history of American Print T-shirts,  My Freedamn! 4 on Hippie fashion, My Freedamn! 5 on Rock ‘n’ Roll fashion from 1930s to early 1950s, My Freedamn! 7 features Vintage Beach Fashion, etc, are available at Lane Crawford Pacific Place, retail from HK 550 to 600 each.

Rue De Jeans is a Los Angeles based jean line and is the brainchild of the designer and international business woman Cindy Yun. Cindy’s early appreciation of classic French fashion, study of the Impressionist period in both Asian and European art, and love of international travel have influenced the line’s creation.
