This season, a new chapter begins at Ports 1961 as the heritage brand takes on a fresh direction under its new creative director Natasa Cagalj. The Autumn Winter 2015 collection is about establishing the base for a woman’s wardrobe. Natasa wanted to erase the line between evening and daywear, incorporating elements of workwear as well as sportswear but also working with the best craftsmen from French and Italian factories to achieve the highest quality.
Her inspiration came from the simple vision of Ports 1961’s founder Luke Tanabe, who wanted to create a perfect white shirt for his wife. As a result, she would like to build a wardrobe around the white shirt, which is more accessible for everyone. From the slouchy suiting and wrapping details, to the delicate yet delightful pom-pom embellishments, this collection demonstrates a seamless and subtle transformation of everyday garments into extraordinary pieces, and gives a twist with functionality and fabrication.

Pringle of Scotland is one of the oldest names of the Scottish borders, the birthplace of the British knitwear industry. Founded in 1815 by Robert Pringle, it is the original brand to introduce knitwear as outerwear; and it was also one of the first brands to knit with cashmere.
To celebrate its 200th anniversary, Pringle is inviting customers to experience its innovations through participating in the customisation of knitwear for the first time. A fully interactive digital platform, Pringle Deconstructed, has been designed to facilitate customer to personalise a cashmere jumper in its signature argyle pattern or classic twinset to their exact specifications - from size, colour and shape, to the unique monogram and logo placement.
The customised knitwear will be available in six to eight weeks time (Retail price: HKD5,800 to HKD13,000).
