Lane Crawford, Greater China’s iconic luxury department store, showcases a special edit of exceptional travel-season fashion and getaway must-haves with “Paradise Calling” including a worldwide exclusive capsule collection with New-York-based fashion designer Rosie Assoulin, winner of the 2015 CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear.
Worldwide Exclusive Capsule Collection with Rosie Assoulin
Teaming up for the first time, Rosie Assoulin and Lane Crawford embarked on this bespoke capsule collection project together, where they considered every detail, from the colour theme to design styles. “This exclusive capsule features our signature pieces with a fresh new take on the colour, which is perfect for resort holidays,” Assoulin said. The Lane Crawford worldwide exclusive capsule consists of five wardrobe staples, featuring the brand’s signature voluminous, structured and feminine silhouettes, evolved further with Lane Crawford’s unique edit. The exciting collection includes the iconic Balloon, Belted Fig-Sleeve, O’Keefe and Helicopter top designs – each with featured necklines that make a woman feel demure, mature and sexy, without revealing too much.
Special Edit of Exceptional Pieces
The cotton ruffle off-the-shoulder tops and fishtail dresses with floral prints by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz are inspired by the current wave of Latino-influenced ruffles and flounces to bring on the holiday mood. Australian label Zimmermann offers broderie anglaise pants and playsuits; while Temperley London features embroidered cotton smock dresses and blouses inspired by Havana; and American label Lisa Marie Fernandez offers twin set style tops to go with a tiered skirt for poolside events.
Esteemed heritage brand Globe-Trotter captures the essence of Italian and British craftsmanship, while complementing the lifestyle of the modern jet setter, with its limited-edition collaboration with Missoni. The beautifully handcrafted luggage features an indigo and emerald green print that made its debut on Missoni’s Spring Summer 2016 runway in Milan. In addition, the Globe-Trotter bespoke service is now exclusively available at Lane Crawford ifc mall for suitcase customisation.
To complete the summer-getaway packing checklist, Lane Crawford has also gathered together tasselled towels from The Beach People, one-of-a-kind exquisite necklaces from Antique Lockets, as well as tasselled and pom-pom slippers from Sanayi 313.

Lane Crawford is proud to unveil its next-generation flagship store at ifc mall in Hong Kong. A new 6,000 square foot space has been re-imagined as four uniquely created rooms which will constantly evolve to showcase a divine curation of extraordinary fashion and fine jewellery.
“With unique access and insight into the world of leading designers and style influencers, the Lane Crawford experience at the next-generation flagship store is an elevated encounter of personal discovery and inspired creativity,” says Joanna Gunn, Chief Brand Officer, Lane Crawford.
This next generation of retail experience was created in collaboration with Yabu Pushelberg, the renowned firm with whom Lane Crawford has cultivated some of the most innovative stores in Greater China. The space uses customised bespoke finishes in rich leather, textured oak, glass laminated wire mesh, and copper to appeal to all the senses.
Each room will be co-curated and regularly transformed by international designers, and Lane Crawford’s talented team of buyers and creatives, reflecting a new “total look” experience that transcends the boundaries of product categories.
Two rooms were exclusively curated by The Row designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who made a personal appearance at the new flagship on July 8, 2015 to introduce their Autumn Winter 2015 collection alongside their handpicked selection of art, shoes and jewelleries.
Presenting insightful journeys into the worlds of fashion icons, another room launches with one of our most beloved designers, Azzedine Alaïa, displaying beautifully crafted leathers and one-off exotic pieces, and the exclusive launch of the brand’s very first scent Alaïa Paris on July 15, 2015.
A new room dedicated to occasion dressing showcases Lane Crawford’s modern approach to cocktail dresses, evening gowns and bridal wear. One-off pieces by Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Valentino and Victoria Beckham are displayed here. For the first time, Lane Crawford is also offering made-to-order services from emerging designers, including Dice Kayek, Esteban Cortazar, Rosie Assoulin and Delpozo Bridal.
The enticing Jewellery Salon pays tribute to leading jewellery maisons, such as Buccellati, and presents the next generation of fine jewellery designers, including Delfina Delettrez and Repossi. Throughout the year, customers have the opportunity to meet designers in this intimate setting. On July 16, 2015, we welcome Milan-based Spanish designer Cristina Ortiz.
Lane Crawford has also tapped music’s new wunderkinds Mimi Xu and Rosey Chan of Carnet de Voyage to produce a soundtrack with their distinctive musical style of classical electronic to complement the new space.
An expanded Ladies’ Shoes, Bags and Accessories space will launch in mid-August 2015 with over 300 international, designer and contemporary brands. There, a room named The Market Place will introduce our favourite fashion jewellery brands, such as Anabela Chan, Campbell, Pamela Love, and Phyne by Paige Novick; and an artistically illuminated footbridge will exhibit a new vintage offering of luxurious handbags, watches and jewellery sourced from around the world, including rare vintage Chanel and Hermès.
A Platinum Suite of unprecedented luxury has been designed as a series of gracious living rooms, providing the perfect place to enjoy personal styling, meet esteemed designers, and indulge in champagne, fine wines and canapés in total privacy.
