Bringing Fashion’s Night Out to Hong Kong and China

 

Celebrating the launch of Autumn/Winter 2012, Lane Crawford is excited to announce the partnership with Vogue China, bringing the annual fashion extravaganza Fashion’s Night Out to Hong Kong for the first time across all Lane Crawford Hong Kong stores on September 7, and Lane Crawford Beijing on September 8, 2012.

 

As a leading fashion speciality store, all Lane Crawford stores will be transformed into a unique space of pop-up shops, art installations, and an exclusive edits of brands presented through innovative pop-up stores and visual merchandising highlights.

 

Being a talk-of-the-town event, there will be interactive activities and animations throughout the stores, including celebrity appearances, fashion bloggers, limited edition merchandise as well as highlighted instore happenings with brands and designers.

In honor of  the fourth annual Hong Kong Art Fair, as known as ARTHK 2012, Lane Crawford is thrilled to announce the collaboration with a local design studio FAUX in creating a limited edition collection of  ceramic mugs designed by eight diverse Hong Kong artists with limited quantity of 300 pieces for each style.

 

The everyday mug was a blank canvas for each artist to exhibit their unique vision, from the lyrical photography of Wai Kit Lam to the dark collage-work of Ho Sing Tung; while conceptualist Magdalen Wong offers an ephemeral visual puzzle and Chow Chun Fai’s best known paintings of Hong Kong film freeze-frames, and here takes on the equally iconic symbol of a red taxi-cab.

  

Ranging from retail HKD240 each, the FAUX Series Ceramic mug is available at Lane Crawford Pacific Place home store, Lane Crawford ifc mall, Lane Crawford Canton Road, and Lane Crawford Times Square.

To celebrate the grand opening of its new home store and showroom at Wong Chuk Hang and a series of exciting art events in Hong Kong, Lane Crawford invites renowned lighting artist Alex Randall, as well as Hong Kong design guru Alan Chan and iconic Chinese photographer Chen Man to join this memorable occasion with their one-of-the-kind art pieces and breathtaking photographic works.

 

A cocktail event had been held to celebrate the opening exhibition on May 15, 2012, Tuesday, at the new Lane Crawford One Island South home store and showroom with the appearances of Alex Randall, Alan Chan and Chen Man, as well as the town’s renowned cultural leaders including Makeup Artist Zing, Designer Michael Young, celebrity Joey Yung and fashion icon Wyman Wong, to experience this impeccable art force.

Lab by Lane Crawford is proud to announce the collaboration with the Hong Kong style icons Hilary Tsui and Dorothy Hui, founders of fashion boutique LIGER, for a pop-up exchange from February 8 to 29, 2012 at Lane Crawford ifc mall and LIGER store.

 

  

The pop-up exchange project is the first-ever collaboration between the two leading fashion houses, introducing the town's fashionistas a combination of impeccable fashion styles and items that all trendsetters would have their eyes on.   The pop-up stores at both locations present lab by Lane Crawford’s latest collections from brands including Alexander Wang, alice+olivia, Carven, Helmut Lang, rag & bone, and Theyskens’ Theory to name a few, as well as LIGER's exclusively selected products for the collaboration from emerging brands including Forget me not, Holly Fulton, Johanna Ho, Karen Walker and Maria Francessca Pepe and more.

 

To express the fashion attitude of the collaboration between lab by Lane Crawford and LIGER’s pop-up exchange project, a video is produced to celebrate their impeccable style featuring LIGER’s brain child-cum-fashion icon Hilary Tsui and Dorothy Hui, as well as their gang of LIGER girls in lab by Lane Crawford and LIGER’s latest Spring/Summer 2012 collections!  Let's get a sneak peak of the video from the behind-the-scene images!
