To launch the Vintage Jewellery Show, Lane Crawford invites jewellery designer and collector, Maria Grazia Baldan, who started designing coral jewelleries since 1980 in Sardinia, Italy. With her love in combining European sense of beauty and oriental ancient essence, Maria Grazia Baldan is the master in reviving vintage jewelleries in a modern and elegant way, making them perfect for everyday wear.
Taking China as her main source of inspiration, Maria Grazia Baldan’s collection features colourful necklaces,
rings, bangles, earrings and brooches, which are all assembled with vintage corals, imperial jades, ivory, pearls and coins collected from China, Tibet and India during her exploration trips for the past 30 years, along with precious stones such as emeralds, diamonds and rubies.
The Vintage Jewellery Show will be held at Lane Crawford ifc mall from March 30 to April 26, 2012, while Maria Grazia Baldan will be visiting Hong Kong during the show from March 30 to 31, 2012 to share her expeditions and stories in the search of her unique jewellery.
