Lane Crawford is set to become Hong Kong’s ultimate destination for kiddie styling with the launch of its exclusive childrenswear range in March. Drawing together kids’ collections from the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands, Cool Kids will allow mini style mavens to echo their parents’ fashion attitudes.
Fashion forward families will revel in the pint sized pieces, all drawing inspiration from designer collections. The very latest looks are reinterpreted in miniature, capturing the essence of each brand. Funky accessories and classic toys complete the offerings.
Highlighted fashion brands includes, Acne, Baby J by J Brand, Lanvin, Marni, kid by Phillip Lim, Sanchita and Stella McCartney, as well as Hong Kong’s very own A for Apple and its collaborated pieces for Opening Ceremony, are all exclusively available at Lane Crawford. For shoes and accessories, fun and new brands such as Adidas x Jeremy Scott, Ash, Birkenstock, Melissa, Pedro Garcia, Repetto and Vanessa Arizaga are set to add miniature statement pieces to any outfits.
On the lifestyle front, it is all about classic and fun toys that are not only limited to kids, brands such as Anne-Claire Petit, Merben International Inc. and Moulin Roty all offer plush toys, while brands like Baghera & Bawi, Playforever, Playsam, Vilac Toys and Wishbone Bike have all the classic metal and wooden little motors that any kid (or adult!) could ever wish for!
With over 25 brands, Cool Kids will make its debut in a month long pop-up spaces at Lane Crawford ifc mall and Canton Road stores from March 2, 2012. Set up with special art work by artist Zosen Bandido, the fun pop-ups will be filled with vivid imagery of neon colours, geometry and symbols that deliver a shopping experience that captures the whimsy and spontaneity of childhood.
