Lane Crawford, in collaboration with Club Monaco, launches a charity initiative, “Wrapped with Love” – a programme that calls on the community of Hong Kong to help those in need by knitting squares to create blankets, all of which will be donated to the Crossroads Foundation and distributed to local and international families. Through this initiative, Lane Crawford pledges to donate a minimum of 3,000 blankets to provide warmth for families this holiday season.
With this commitment, a celebrity and student knitting workshops were held on November 19, 2011 and November 26, 2011 respectively at Lane Crawford ifc mall.
In the celebrity knitting workshop, celebrity models Jennifer Tse and Kathy Chow, together with the town’s leading socialites including Dr. Christie Wu, Kennis Tai, Eydie Tai and Barney Cheng knitted squares and created a blanket for the needed in support of the charity act; while students from ISF Academy also joined the act on last Saturday to knit to help the people in need.
