The LC insider is excited to announce that together with Opening Ceremony’s founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, style icon and renowned actress Chloë Sevigny will be making a personal appearance at the exclusive cocktail on April 14, 2011 at Lane Crawford ifc mall in Hong Kong and Lane Crawford Beijing store on April 16, 2011 to celebrate this innovative collaboration.
This April, the Lane Crawford ifc mall store and Beijing store will be transformed for 4 weeks into a conceptual retail extension of Opening Ceremony, replete with inspired visual displays and exciting must-have products. As Opening Ceremony’s latest venture into Asia, following its eight-level Tokyo store that opened in August 2009, the collaboration marks the first time that an entire Lane Crawford store will be curated by a specially appointed partner and features an assortment of celebrated designers, artistic collaborators and cult-famous partners.
About Chloë Sevigny
Chloë Sevigny is an Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated American actress, she is also a model, and a fashion designer. Sevigny, who became well known for starring in a string of critically acclaimed, well received independent films in the 1990s, experienced her mainstream breakout role as Lana in Boys Don't Cry (1999), and television series Big Love from 2006 to 2011.
As a style icon, Sevigny started her career as a fashion model, she has always expressed interest in fashion and designing, which led to a career as a prominent fashion designer. Her first collaboration with Opening Ceremony launched in 2009, Spring/Summer 2011 is the third collection created in partnership between Sevigny and Opening Ceremony.
