Founded in 1850, Lane Crawford, Asia’s iconic luxury department store, has always been at the forefront of fashion and luxury lifestyle through its collaborations with some of the most influential names from the worlds of fashion, jewellery, beauty and lifestyle.

To continue this journey, Lane Crawford joins hands with its sister company JOYCE boutique for the first time, offering a curated selection of Autumn Winter 2017 genderless collections from 17 pioneering brands new to Lane Crawford customers, available in store and online.

At the JOYCE pop-up shop, Lane Crawford introduces international brands from cutting-edge brands that are rewriting the style rulebook to bold new directions from influential names including Juun.J, Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Vetements and Yohji Yamamoto. Other avant-garde and cutting-edge brands include Alyx, Ambush, Ann Demeulemeester, Aries, Courreges, Craig Green, Hyein Seo, J.W.Anderson, Jacquemus, Jil Sander, King and Undercover.

To launch this very special pop-up partnership, JOYCE created the ‘No Man is an Island’ series — an exclusive collection of interviews with the minds and personalities of creators and talents who make up the JOYCE family — that will be featured on Captured on camera and photographed in their own environments, it demonstrates that no individual can stand alone. As exemplified within the Lane Crawford Joyce Group, the key to success is coexistence, reliability and motivation from others. The interviews delve deeper in to the relationships with those whom they depend on most of all: the people who made them who they are.

To celebrate the arrival of these exciting collections, Lane Crawford and JOYCE have invited Korean designer Juun.J to personally launch his AW17 collection at Lane Crawford ifc mall on September 5, 2017.

Diversion of Classic

Graduated from ESMOD Seoul in 1992, Juun.J worked at many prestigious fashion houses before creating his label Lone Costume in 1999. During Paris Men’s Fashion Week in 2007, Juun.J launched his namesake label and quickly established himself as the most innovative designer to watch. By deconstructing traditional ideas in menswear, Juun.J's decidedly modern approach to design is deeply rooted in his masterly knowledge in classic tailoring, where he shatters old notions to create new silhouettes. Largely inspired by youth and street culture, Juun.J refers to his style as ‘Street Tailoring.’

The JOYCE pop-up shop is available at Lane Crawford ifc mall, as well as online at until early November 2017.
